This document assesses the risk associated with the dissemination of carbapenemase-producing hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae (hvKp) of sequence type (ST) 23 and other STs in the European Union/European Economic Area (EU/EEA).
Since the beginning of the outbreak declared on 20 September 2022 and as of 5 November 2022, Uganda has experienced 132 confirmed cases of Ebola disease (EBOD) caused by Sudan virus (SUDV), including 53 deaths and 61 recoveries across eight districts.

They provide a timely summary and risk assessment of a public health threat for EU/EEA countries related to a specific event. They also include potential options for response. As outbreaks or public health events develop, ECDC may issue updated risk assessments.
On 14 February 2021, national authorities declared an Ebola virus disease (EVD) outbreak in the rural area of Gouéké in Nzérékoré region, Guinea. As of 18 February 2021, seven EVD cases (three confirmed and four probable) have been identified, including five deaths.

All EU/EEA countries and the UK have experienced outbreaks among LTCF residents since August 2020.
