Scientific exchange programmes
ECDC collaborates with other institutions to offer hands-on learning opportunities for public health experts to develop their skills, share knowledge and engage with other observers and ECDC experts. Currently there are exchange programmes for members of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, the European Society for Clinical Virology and experts in food and waterborne diseases.
The ECDC Observership programme offers early- and mid-career scientists and health professionals the opportunity to visit ECDC in Stockholm and learn about the activities of the Centre
