The working group for Surveillance studies in a pandemic (SSiaP) met for the fourth time on 14–15 July 2009, in Stockholm. The final report of that meeting presents the outcomes of the discussions on addressing the challenges for surveillance during a pandemic.
On 13 November 2012, the Health Protection Agency published the whole genome sequence data from the second case of respiratory disease associated with a novel coronavirus who was hospitalised in England.
