Two day event in which scholars and practitioners from a variety of disciplines working in the field of interpersonal communication and social interaction will be drawn together to discuss face-to-face relationships, mediated contexts, health and care contexts, conflict situations, organisational and professional, contexts, intercultural contexts, language and social interaction.

On 9 June, ECDC will be hosting a technical side-event to the United Nations High-Level Meeting on AIDS 2011. The event will highlight how countries and regions with differing epidemiology could improve their responses to HIV/AIDS.

ECDC organises a briefing on its preparedness and response activities, combined with a workshop ‘Detection and assessment of public health threats in the European Union’.
