Third external evaluation of ECDC (2013-2017)

During its last meeting on 17 June 2020, the ECDC Management Board approved the conclusions and recommendations on the third independent external evaluation of ECDC. The third external evaluation was launched in August 2018, and covers the period 2013-2017. The final report is now published together with the conclusions and recommendations of the Management Board. The Management Board would like to draw the reader’s attention to the fact that these conclusions and recommendations have been approved in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic reflecting the early lessons learned from it, while the final report was delivered before the start of the outbreak.
