In 2022, 27 EU/EEA countries reported 1 757 cases of dengue, 1 560 of which (89%) were confirmed.

The EU/EEA notification rate in 2022 was 0.4 cases per 100 000 population. The number of dengue cases rose compared to 2021, most likely due to a combination of an increase in international travel and an increase in dengue cases globally.
