22 Jun 2023 - For 2021, 24 countries reported 12 cases of chikungunya virus disease, of which all were confirmed.

5 Apr 2022 - For 2020, 24 EU/EEA countries reported 59 cases of chikungunya virus disease, of which 52 (88%) were confirmed. This was the lowest number of cases reported at the EU/EEA level since 2016. The EU/EEA notification rate was <0.1 cases per 100 000 population.

14 Apr 2021 - For 2019, 15 countries reported 516 cases of chikungunya virus disease, of which 421 (82%) were confirmed.

16 Dec 2019 - For 2018, 14 countries reported 160 cases of chikungunya virus disease, of which 113 (71%) were confirmed.

3 Apr 2019 - For 2017, 10 countries reported 548 cases of chikungunya virus disease, of which 461 (84.1%) were confirmed.
