Visit of Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport to ECDC
On 7 March 2023, Marjolijn Sonnema, Director-General for Public Health of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport of the Netherlands, visited ECDC.
The Director-General and her delegation met with Dr. Andrea Ammon to discuss ECDC's reinforced mandate and what it implies both for ECDC and the Member States. At the request of the Ministry, there was also a meeting scheduled on ECDC’s work on antimicrobial resistance, healthcare-associated infections and zoonotic influenza viruses.
