Tonsil Biopsy Training Day

The National CJD Research and Surveillance Centre held a one-day training workshop on tonsil biopsy interpretation in human prion disease in January 2013. The workshop included presentation and discussion on  issues such as  tonsil biopsy specimen handling and staining, tonsil biopsy interpretation, PET blot of tonsil and other lymphoid tissues and Western Blot analysis in tonsil biopsy.
