The objectives of the annual ELDSNet meeting were to present and discuss the epidemiology, laboratory aspects etc. of Legionnaires’ disease in Europe
Objectives of the annual ELDSNet meeting:
- To present and discuss the epidemiology of Legionnaires’ disease in Europe in 2015;
- To present and discuss laboratory aspects of Legionnaires’ disease surveillance in Europe;
- To exchange experiences and knowledge on clusters and outbreaks related to Legionnaires’ disease;
- To discuss and recommend ways how to increase the numbers of clinical and environmental isolates available for typing.
