Laboratory standard operating procedure for multiple-locus variable-number tandem repeat analysis of Salmonella enterica serotype Enteritidis

​This publication describes the standardised laboratory protocol for molecular subtyping of S. Enteritidis. It is based on the 5-locus MLVA method and offers data providers with a single protocol for performing multiple-locus variable-number tandem repeat analysis of Salmonella enterica serotype Enteritidis (S. Enteritidis). Adhering to the protocol ensures interlaboratory comparability of the generated results.
