In international food or waterborne disease outbreaks, a smooth flow of information between many stakeholders may be required. Often this involves international networks designed to ensure relevant parties receive timely and complete information. Different networks can be involved depending on the nature of the event, the type of the information that needs sharing and the legal requirements by which Member States are bound.
