West Nile virus in Europe in 2021 - human cases, updated 14 October 2021

Between 8 and 14 October 2021, European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) countries reported no human cases of West Nile virus (WNV) infection and no deaths related to WNV infections. EU-neighbouring countries reported one human case of WNV infection in Serbia (1) and no deaths related to WNV infections.
