Communicable disease threats report, 10-16 May 2025, week 20

The ECDC Communicable Disease Threats Report (CDTR) is a weekly bulletin for epidemiologists and health professionals on active public health threats. This issue of the CDTR covers the period 10-16 May 2025 and includes updates on respiratory virus epidemiology in the EU/EEA, Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), avian influenza A(H10N3 and H9N2) and diphtheria, chikungunya virus disease, measles, and Nipah virus disease.
