The ECDC Communicable Disease Threats Report (CDTR) is a weekly bulletin for epidemiologists and health professionals on active public health threats. This issue of the CDTR covers the period 26 September - 2 October 2026, and includes updates on Crimean Congo haemorrhagic fever, Chikungunya virus disease, cholera, COVID-19, dengue, Ebola, avian influenza, seasonal influenza, Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), respiratory syncytial infection, Vibriosis and West Nile virus infection.
