The ECDC Communicable Disease Threats Report (CDTR) is a weekly bulletin for epidemiologists and health professionals on active public health threats. This issue of the CDTR covers the period 22 - 28 August, and includes updates on diphtheria, Ebola, swine influenza A(H1N2), respiratory virus epidemiology, Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever, dengue, chikungunya virus disease, Vibrio growth, West Nile virus, cholera, poliovirus and expert deployments.
