Part 2: Drug treatment for preventing hepatitis C, HIV and injecting risk behaviour
This is the second of two technical reports that present the evidence behind the Guidance on the prevention and control of infectious diseases among people who inject drugs.
The evidence presented here focuses on the effectiveness of drug treatment on the occurrence and risk of hepatitis C virus, hepatitis B virus and HIV; the progression of HIV; and/or injecting risk behaviour in people who inject drugs.
