Joint public health advice for WorldPride events in the Netherlands, 2026

Ahead of the start on 25 July, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe), and the Netherland’s National Institute for Public Health and the Environment are issuing joint health advice for all participants.

This advice is to help make sure everyone can enjoy the festivities safely, and raises awareness of health recommendations on a range of health topics, from sexually transmitted infections through to vaccination, respiratory illnesses, and food and water safety.

Whether you join the festival in Amsterdam or celebrate at local pride gatherings, we encourage you to follow this public health advice to protect both yourselves and others.
