Phlebotomus papatasi - current known distribution: April 2026

The map shows the current known distribution of Phlebotomus papatasi in Europe at ‘regional’ administrative unit level, as of April 2026. Since the previous update (October 2023), there are six new administrative units where this species is currently known to be present, four of which in Algeria,and one unit in Kosovo where the species was newly reported (marked as introduced).
