Since the beginning of 2024, and as of 1 October 2024, five MERS cases, including four fatalities, have been reported in Saudi Arabia with date of onset in 2024.

MERS-CoV worldwide overview

Since the previous update on 6 October 2025, and as of 3 November 2025, no new MERS-CoV cases have been reported by the World Health Organization (WHO) or national health
authorities.
