The Annual Meeting of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) is one of the largest gatherings of respiratory professionals in the world. A platform for communicating important improvements in the understanding and treatment of lung disease, the Congress features speakers from among the world’s leading experts in the field. Over 20,000 delegates attended the ERS Congress last year in Amsterdam.
This year, the scientific programme will cover novelties, research and the most recent data presentations on the topics of tuberculosis, respiratory infections, lung cancer, sleep and control of breathing, allergy and immunology, pulmonary circulation and pulmonary vascular disease, among others. Participants at ERS Vienna 2012 will also find courses, workshops, symposia, seminars and a large exhibition area.
ECDC at ERS
ECDC will be participating at the ERS with oral presentations, symposium sessions and an infostand where visitors can find all the latest scientific ECDC published outputs on the subject of respiratory diseases.
