Rhipicephalus sanguineus - current known distribution: April 2026

The map shows the current known distribution of Rhipicephalus sanguineus in Europe at ‘regional’ administrative unit level, as of April 2026. Since the previous update (October 2023), there are 15 new administrative units in eight countries where this species is currently known to be present, and three units in three countries where the species was newly reported (marked as introduced).
