The map shows the current known distribution of Dermacentor reticulatus in Europe at ‘regional’ administrative unit level, as of April 2026. Since the previous update (October 2023), there are seven new administrative units where this species is currently known to be present (five of which in Portugal), and three units where the species was newly reported (marked as introduced).
