ECDC publishes the antimicrobial resistance and healthcare-associated infections chapter of the Annual Epidemiological Report 2014. It includes data from 2012 on antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial consumption and healthcare-associated infections.
The Annual Epidemiological Report is a key ECDC publication on the epidemiology of communicable diseases of public health significance in Europe. The 2014 edition of the Annual Epidemiological Report is being published a disease group at a time and will later be compiled into one comprehensive report.

Surveillance of antimicrobial resistance in Europe, 2020 data
18 Nov 2021 - The results presented in this executive summary are based on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) data from invasive isolates reported to the Central Asian and European Surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance (CAESAR) and the European Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Network (EARS-Net) in 2021 (data referring to 2020). Twelve countries and Kosovo reported data to CAESAR, while 29 countries, including all from the European Union (EU) and two from the European Economic Area (EEA) (Iceland and Norway), reported data to EARS-Net.
Antimicrobial consumption in the EU/EEA (ESAC-Net) - Annual Epidemiological Report for 2020
18 Nov 2021 - For 2020, twenty-nine countries (27 European Union (EU) Member States and two European Economic Area (EEA) countries - Iceland and Norway) reported data on antimicrobial consumption. Twenty-five countries reported data for both community and hospital consumption; two countries (Germany and Iceland) reported only community consumption, and two countries (Cyprus and Czechia) reported total consumption for both sectors combined.
