ESCAIDE is ECDC’s annual scientific conference, dedicated to sharing knowledge on infectious disease epidemiology, public health microbiology, and related scientific fields. 2026 marks the 20th edition of the conference, and will be held as a hybrid event, in Stockholm (Sweden) and online, 18-20 November.

Since 2007, ESCAIDE brought together experts, professionals, and students from diverse backgrounds, including epidemiologists, public health microbiologists, public health practitioners, mathematical modellers, statisticians, clinicians, veterinarians, policymakers, health economists, social scientists, and communication specialists. 
 
It offers a platform to share research, discuss scientific advances, and form lasting professional networks.
