European Antibiotic Awareness Day 2012

Event
The European Antibiotic Awareness Day is marked annually on 18 November to raise awareness about the threat to public health of antibiotic resistance and prudent antibiotic use.

A launch event 'Keeping Antibiotics Effective is Everyone’s Responsibility' took place on 16 November in Brussels, where the current European trends and actions related to antimicrobial resistance were presented.
