EUPHA’s 5th European Conference on Migrant and Ethnic Minority Health
The purpose of the conference was to provide a forum to share and discuss different approaches and practical experiences around migrants’ and ethnic minorities’ health and healthcare in a context of economic austerity.
Policy and decision makers, researchers from various disciplines, health practitioners, and non-governmental organisation representatives had the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience on the named field.

19 Mar 2014 to 20 Mar 2014 - Under the auspices of the Greek Presidency of the EU Council, the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention (HCDCP) in collaboration with the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, hosted a technical expert workshop on “Public Health benefits of screening for infectious diseases among newly arrived migrants to the EU/EEA” in Athens.
