About the network

HIV/AIDS surveillance in Europe is jointly coordinated by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the WHO Regional Office for Europe, collecting data from all 53 countries in the European region.

Euro-HIV project & past reports

EuroHIV coordinated the surveillance of AIDS and later also HIV infection in the 53 countries of the WHO European Region between 1984 and 2007.

HIV/AIDS, sexual transmitted infections and viral hepatitis programme

This programme was set up in September 2006. The programme covers chlamydia infection, gonorrhoea, syphilis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV infection and AIDS.
