Tuberculosis Surveillance in Europe 2007

The first joint ECDC / WHO TB surveillance report demonstrates that the incidence of MDR-TB remains very high in the Region. Twenty seven high-priority countries collectively account for 86% of the estimated MDR-TB cases in the world . Of these countries, 15 are in the WHO European Region.
