Training programmes
ECDC organises several training activities in epidemiology, communicable diseases and public health. These include
- online and live courses for public health professionals
- fellowships across the EU as well as the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions in intervention epidemiology and public health microbiology
- providing training and materials for public health trainers
- developing core competency frameworks to define, categorise and standardise public health expertise
