TEPHINET Global Conference

ECDC Acting Director, Dr Andrea Ammon, gave a presentation on “The Impact of the FETP programs in response to the challenges in public health”, at the TEPHINET Global Conference on 8 September 2015. Focus was on the impact of the FETP program in Europe in the last period, the role of the EPIET program in the region, examples of international collaboration and challenges for the future.

The purpose of the presentation was to provide the audience with evidence of the importance of the FETP program in the function of the Ministries of Health and in the Public Health Institutions, and to explain the role of the program in implementing International Health Regulations and other activities. This roundtable discussion was moderated by Dato Fadzilah Kamaludin, Chair of the TEPHINET Advisory Board, and Dionisio Herrera, Director of TEPHINET.
