Workshop on global and regional HIV monitoring
Event
This workshop brought together experts on HIV monitoring and reporting from EU Member States, ECDC, the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), the European Commission, UNAIDS, the World Health Organization and the Civil Society Forum.
The workshop informed countries of the joint agency initiative to:
- improve the relevance of international reporting, and
- to reduce the reporting burden on countries.
Furthermore, the objectives of this workshop were to provide technical support to countries in monitoring their HIV responses and in reporting progress to regional and international bodies.
