Are Sweden and the EU ready to tackle the next global epidemic?

​This lunchtime seminar addressed the preparedness mechanisms in the EU and in Sweden to protect citizens against infectious diseases and threats to health. Other discussion topics included how to better collaborate in an increasingly globalised world and lessons learnt from the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

The event, jointly organised by ECDC and the European Commission Representation in Sweden, was part of ECDC's 10-year anniversary celebrations and was held in Swedish.
