Ad-hoc advisory meeting on Preparedness
ECDC held an ad-hoc advisory meeting on preparedness on 15-16 May 2014.
This meeting gathered a group of National Focal Points for Preparedness and Response, representatives from WHO Regional Office for Europe, the European Commission (DG SANCO) and from the Consumers, Health and Food Executive Agency of the EU (CHAFEA).
The objectives of this informal consultation were:
- Plan the annual meeting of National Focal Points for Preparedness and Response (scheduled on 15-16 October 2014);
- Review and get feedback on ongoing projects in the field of preparedness;
- Discuss priorities for preparedness activities of ECDC in 2015 and beyond.
ECDC Expert consultation on community engagement in public health emergency preparedness
27 Mar 2019 to 28 Mar 2019 - The expert consultation meeting organised by ECDC seeks to identify enabling factors and barriers to good practice in community engagement in the context of public health emergency preparedness. Outcomes of this meeting will inform the development of an ECDC guidance on the topic.
Expert meeting on the use of evidence in decision making during health crisis
5 Dec 2018 to 6 Dec 2018 - ECDC is organising an expert consultation meeting in Stockholm in order to contribute to a better understanding by public health experts of the mechanisms through which scientific evidence feeds into decision-making processes during emergencies.
Europol and ECDC organised second Cross-sectoral Biorisk Awareness and Mitigation Training
20 Apr 2018 - The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (EUROPOL) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), organised the second edition of the Cross-sectoral Biorisk Awareness and Mitigation Training, hosted in Olhão, Portugal, on 17 - 19 April 2018.
