West Nile virus in Europe in 2019 - outbreaks among equids and/or birds, updated 15 November 2019

Between 8 and 14 November 2019, three outbreaks among equids were reported to the Animal Disease Notification System (ADNS) by France (2) and Germany (1). During the current transmission season, 88 outbreaks among equids have been reported by Germany (30), Greece (21), France (13), Italy (8), Hungary (7), Austria (4), Spain (4) and Portugal (1). In addition, Germany reported 53 outbreaks among birds to ADNS.
