Mission report: Assessment of Latvia’s reference microbiology laboratory system

The Latvian Centre for Disease Prevention and Control requested the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control to evaluate the structure and activities of the national reference laboratory system and advise on options for a revision of the system's terms of reference and scope of services – including collaboration between laboratories and the processes of delegating functions.
The evaluation took place in March 2014.
