ECDC roadmap for integration of molecular typing into European-level surveillance and epidemic preparedness – Version 1.2, 2013

​This document presents the recommended priority options and implementation processes for the medium-term integration of molecular typing into EU-level surveillance and epidemic preparedness. The roadmap will be updated on an annual basis, proposing molecular typing integration for additional pathogens. There will also be a bi-annual review and evaluation of performance and public health usefulness of all ongoing molecular surveillance components implemented.
