Annual meeting of the European Legionnaires’ Disease Surveillance Network 2010

This first meeting of ELDSnet reviewed the epidemiology of Legionnaires’ disease in Europe during 2009 and discussed various issues related to improving the detection and surveillance of the disease. Some of the key outcomes of the meeting were a suggested revision of the case definition, agreed changes to the reporting variables and the appointment of members to the coordination group for a two-year term.
