Geographical distribution of confirmed MERS-CoV cases by country of infection and year, from April 2012 - 3 October 2022

Since the beginning of 2022, and as of 3 October 2022, three MERS-CoV cases have been reported in Qatar (2) and Oman (1), including one death. All three cases were primary cases, having reported contact with camels. The last cases reported in Qatar prior to these cases were in February 2020 and in February 2019.
