Informal meeting of Health Ministers
On 23-24 April, Dr. Andrea Ammon attended the informal meeting of Health Ministers in Brussels.

The Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs (EPSCO) Council meeting included two work sessions and one ministerial debate on the following topics:
- addressing the health workforce crisis (work session)
- security of medicine supply (work session)
- Europe’s Beating Cancer plan: focus on primary prevention
The EPSCO Council works to increase employment levels and improve living and working conditions, ensuring a high level of human health and consumer protection in the EU.
The EPSCO Council brings together ministers responsible for employment, social affairs, health and consumer policy from all EU member states. Relevant European Commissioners also participate in meetings.
There are usually four EPSCO meetings a year.
