The "Incidence, Severity and Impact of Influenza Meeting" hosted discussions on the assessment of the impact of influenza epidemics, including infection incidence and severity, and the burden of mortality.
ECDC staff member and influenza virologist Eeva Broberg attended. Scientists, healthcare professionals and public health officials came together at the meeting, and considered options for data collection, assessment and analysis, as well as how relevant information can be interpreted.
