Assessment mission in the field of communicable diseases - the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

The European Commission invited the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to accept an assessment mission to review the communicable disease prevention and control system.

​For this task the ECDC acting director appointed the assessment team which consisted of ECDC staff and external experts from six EU Member States. During the mission, the team interviewed representatives of competent institutions and services in the capital and in four regions, i.e. Skopje, Tetovo, Ohrid and Strumica.
