Zsuzsanna Jakab leaves ECDC – tributes from Chairman and Acting Director
28 January 2010 was the last working day for Zsuzsanna Jakab as Director of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the Stockholm based EU agency she has led since it started up in 2005.  On 1 February Zsuzsanna Jakab started work in Copenhagen as the new Regional Director for Europe of the World Health Organization (WHO).
