Postcard from the field: Ebola outbreak in the DRC
In August 2020, GOARN sent a request for assistance for epidemiologists to be deployed to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to support the Ebola virus disease outbreak response in the Equateur Province.
This course focuses on antimicrobial stewardship as an approach to address healthcare-associated infections (HAI) resulting from multi-drug resistance organisms in acute care settings.
The ECDC Fellowship Programme is a two-year competency based training with two paths: the field epidemiology path (EPIET) and the public health microbiology path (EUPHEM).
This online course aims to improve skills in writing and reviewing scientific abstracts. The examples used will have a field epidemiology focus, such as outbreak investigations.
