As an independent EU Agency, ECDC reports to a Management Board whose members are nominated by the Member States, the European Parliament and the European Commission.
Competent Bodies
The ECDC Founding Regulation states that ECDC in its relations with the Member States cooperates with the competent bodies operating in the technical field of ECDC.
