Dr Andrea Ammon (Director, ECDC) has invited all the EU Member States to state their interest in hosting the ESCAIDE conference in 2023 or 2027.
ECDC opens ESCAIDE 2020 digital conference
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) is today opening the 2020 European Scientific Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology (ESCAIDE). A key theme at the ESCAIDE conference is COVID-19, with two plenaries that will focus on the epidemiology, societal impact and effectiveness of measures taken with respect to the pandemic.

Open call for journalists and influencers to attend ESCAIDE
ECDC is inviting a limited number of journalists and social media influencers to attend the ESCAIDE 2019 conference. ECDC will cover travelling and accommodation expenses for the successful applicants.
Course: Methods and tools for evidence-based practice with focus on infectious diseases
For public health professionals who want to understand the basic principles of evidence-based practice and get basic hands-on training in the area. The course is open to all and offered as an ESCAIDE 2017 side event. Places are filled on a first come first served basis.
