For public health professionals who want to understand the basic principles of evidence-based practice and get basic hands-on training in the area. The course is open to all and offered as an ESCAIDE 2017 side event. Places are filled on a first come first served basis.

Course: Methods and tools for evidence-based practice with focus on infectious diseases
This course was recommended for public health professionals involved in the planning, development, commissioning and/or approval of scientific outputs like reviews, assessments or guidance in the area of infectious disease epidemiology, prevention and control. Over the four days, the participants were expected to learn the basic skills and competences needed for evidence-based practice.
