European Legionnaires’ Disease Surveillance Network (ELDSNet) - Operating procedures
This document explains the operating procedures of the European Legionnaires’ Disease Surveillance Network, coordinated by ECDC. It specifically relates to reporting cases of travel-associated Legionnaires’ disease arising from stays in hotel or other commercial holiday accommodation. The aim is to quickly identify and control outbreaks of the disease and minimise the risk to holidaymakers. This edition supersedes the January 2012 edition.

ESGLI Guidance for managing Legionella in building water systems during the COVID-19 pandemic
The ESCMID Study Group for Legionella Infections, ESGLI, has put together a guidance document on how to best manage Legionella in building water systems during this COVID-19 outbreak. It is very important that while many buildings and offices are shut down due to the pandemic, that water systems are still well maintained to prevent future health issues like Legionella outbreaks. The procedures outlined here will help maintain water systems during this outbreak.
