Published by the European Food Safety Authority, this joint scientific report brings together data on the occurrence of zoonoses, zoonotic agents and food-borne outbreaks and zoonoses cases reported in humans.

​The report presents the results of the zoonoses monitoring activities carried out in 2013 in 32 European countries:eg 28 Member States (MS) and four non-Member States (non-MS) European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries.

Cases of salmonellosis and campylobacteriosis have remained stable over the past five years, although listeriosis is on the rise. In 2017, there was an average of 100 food- and waterborne outbreaks per week.

This report of the European Food Safety Authority and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control presents the results of zoonoses monitoring activities carried out in 2018 in 36 European countries (28 Member States (MS) and 8 non-MS).
