On t​he third meeting of the Hepatitis B and C Network national focal points and experts discussed the enhanced surveillance programme for hepatitis B and C across Europe and explored ways of improving it.

ECDC hosted observers from the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and the European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV) in September for a week-long programme of seminars, activities and events under the ECDC Observership programme.
